Communities and approach to Law Enforcement practices

How to right wrongs? Two injurious wrongs will never make a situation right.

Will there ever become a time when we can be honest without offense?

The “experts” speak of the rioting and looting as a direct reaction to police misconduct. The criminal justice system is in much need of reform. A criminal act is not negated by means of police authority. Police are empowered by the people. Many officers, from the first pinning their shield to months or even years, forget that their power is entrusted to them by “The People” and many officers forget they are to protect and serve. They develop a “ruler mentality” versus a servants heart.

There are many officers who never learn the laws they swear to enforce. They enforce the law out of ignorance or negligence. Many do not know the Preamble to the United States Constitution, much less, its amendments.

Law Enforcement Agencies need to vet their cadets better to greater protect its citizens.

If one cannot self-govern and balance the power he has been handed, power will eventually ruin that person.

Those who commit violent, criminal acts should be dealt with harshly and severely. To damage a building or business simply because it is insured, is total ignorance and disregard for your fellow neighbor. The business owner will bear the cost burden of higher premiums.

Ignorance is not bliss in today’s society.

Let us unify and create a safe environment for our cities and neighbors.

God bless America.
