Hope defined is the emotional state which promotes the belief in a positive outcome related to events and circumstances in one’s life and to cherish a desire with anticipation. When one receives wages for their labor, they have hope to pay a bill, eliminate debt, or make a purchase.
When one has received Jesus in their heart and makes the decision to honor him in their living, there is a great hope in two facets of existence; life on earth and eternal security in heaven.
To never encounter Jesus or to DENY him is to essentially relinquish ALL hope. With him, makes one an overcomer. Life will become more challenging and perplexing but you will overcome the obstacles this world lays before you. There is a great hope, peace, and rest found in him.
